PEI/Polyetherimide

ULTEM is a high-performance, amber-colored, transparent amorphous thermoplastic. Manufactured by SABIC, it offers exceptional heat resistance with a glass transition temperature of 217°C and long-term use up to 170°C. It is inherently flame retardant (UL94 V-0), maintains high strength and stiffness across a wide temperature range, and provides excellent dimensional stability and electrical insulation.

Typical Applications: Aerospace components, electrical connectors, medical devices, automotive parts, and semiconductor equipment.
