MacDermid Alpha Micromax 4906 is a solderable, high adhesion Ag termination paste designed for lead attachment to multilayer capacitors. Featuring 18-25 Pa.s low viscosity, 80.5-81.5% solid content, and 850°C 40-minute firing — compatible with low, mid and high firing MLC dielectrics per TDS specifications.

Micromax 4906 is a solderable, high adhesion Ag termination paste designed for lead attachment to multilayer capacitors. This product is compatible with low, mid and high firing MLC dielectrics and was engineered to achieve high lead adhesion while minimizing Ag usage. The paste can be used in radial or axial configurations using conformally coated or molded coating, offering excellent cosmetics and good leaded adhesion per TDS specifications.

With a low viscosity of 18-25 Pa.s and high solid content of 80.5-81.5%, Micromax 4906 is optimized for roller applicator use, although dipping equipment can also be employed. Drying is performed at 200°C peak for 15 minutes on a belt dryer. The paste fires at 850°C peak with a 40-minute cycle and 5-10 minute peak hold. The composition is lead, cadmium and phthalate free. Available in standard packaging with 6-month shelf life per TDS specifications.
