Unlike the PV-specialized Solumer 885V designed for solar encapsulant films, Solumer 891 is engineered for universal extrusion applications including wire sheathing, shoe sole foaming and rigid plastic toughening. Its long molecular chain brings remarkable melt strength to avoid sagging during extrusion, creating uniform closed-cell structures for footwear. The extremely low glass transition point preserves consistent elasticity even under low-temperature operating environments.
