ENGAGE 8180 POE Resin is a Dow polyolefin elastomer, also known as an ethylene-octene copolymer, designed for general purpose thermoplastic elastomers, impact modification, thermoplastic olefins, wire and cable, and applications requiring low density, excellent flow, high filler loading, and improved impact performance in PP and PE blends.

ENGAGE 8180 is a lower density, high performance polyolefin elastomer with excellent flow characteristics. It provides superb impact properties in blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), making it suitable for TPO and flexible polymer modification applications.

This grade also provides high filler loading capability and excellent electrical properties. When cross-linked by peroxide, silane, or irradiation, ENGAGE 8180 provides exceptional heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance properties.
