MacDermid Alpha Micromax 4933D is a cadmium-free ternary termination with 2.9:1 silver/palladium ratio + 1% platinum, designed to resist leaching during hand soldering and provide excellent contact properties. Featuring 710-780°C firing and compatibility with low, medium and high-fire ceramic bodies per TDS specifications.
Micromax 4933D is a cadmium-free ternary termination paste with a 2.9:1 silver to palladium ratio plus 1% platinum, specifically designed to resist leaching during hand soldering and provide excellent contact properties. This termination is ideal for applications where platable terminations are not desired but where soldering conditions are required. The composition is compatible with low, medium and high-fire ceramic capacitor bodies, offering very good solderability, excellent cosmetics, and high solder leach resistance per TDS specifications.
With a viscosity of 26-36 Pa.s and solid content of 75-77%, Micromax 4933D is optimized for Palomar-type dipping applications. Drying is performed at 200°C peak for 15 minutes on a belt dryer. The paste fires at 710-780°C peak with a 40-minute cycle and 6-minute peak hold. The composition is cadmium, nickel and phthalate free. Available in standard packaging with 6-month shelf life per TDS specifications.
