MacDermid Alpha Micromax 4093 is an Ag/Pd/Pt conductor developed as a low-cost solderable alternative to gold. Offering outstanding anti-migration and high solder leach resistance — compatible with 1700 and 1900 series resistors per TDS specifications.

Micromax 4093 is an Ag/Pd/Pt conductor paste developed as a low-cost solderable alternative to gold-bearing conductors. This mixed bonded conductor delivers superior performance over traditional palladium silver compositions with regard to solder leaching and silver migration. The composition offers outstanding resistance to silver migration, very high solder leach resistance in 62Sn/36Pb/2Ag and 63Sn/37Pb solders, and high aged adhesion.

The paste is optimized for 200-325 mesh stainless steel screens with print speeds up to 30 cm/s. Drying is performed at 150°C for 10-15 minutes after 5-10 minutes leveling. Firing at 850°C peak uses either 30 or 60-minute profiles. The composition is compatible with Micromax 1700 and 1900 series resistor compositions, as well as crossover and multilayer dielectric compositions. Available in standard packaging.
