⚡ Silver Conductor for Membrane Switches on Flexible Substrates
MacDermid Alpha Micromax 5000 is a silver conductor paste for membrane switches and low-voltage circuitry on flexible substrates including print-treated and non-print-treated polyester. Featuring excellent conductivity, >4H abrasion resistance, and fast drying per TDS specifications.

Micromax 5000 is a silver conductor paste used to fabricate low-voltage circuitry, especially on flexible substrates including print-treated and non-print-treated polyester. Using a unique combination of flake silver and resin technology, Micromax 5000 delivers excellent conductivity, abrasion resistance, and printability. The paste is compatible with reel-to-reel, semiautomatic, and manual printers, offering excellent residence time on the screen. It is fully compatible with Micromax 7102 (overcoat carbon) and Micromax 5018 UV dielectric per TDS specifications.

With a solid content of 51.5-53.5% and viscosity of 3.5-16 Pa.s, Micromax 5000 is optimized for 280 mesh screens, achieving a typical circuit line thickness of 8-9 μm. Curing can be performed in a box oven at 120°C for 8-10 minutes, reel-to-reel at 140°C for 1-1.5 minutes, or IR belt furnace at 130°C for 2-4 minutes. The paste delivers pencil hardness greater than 4H and crease resistance of ≤18 mΩ/sq/mil. Available in standard packaging with 6-month shelf life per TDS specifications.
