ENGAGE 8150 POE Resin is a Dow polyolefin elastomer, also known as an ethylene-octene copolymer, designed for general purpose thermoplastic elastomers, impact modification, thermoplastic olefins, wire and cable, and applications requiring excellent flow, low temperature impact performance, high filler loading, and crosslinkable properties.
ENGAGE 8150 has excellent flow characteristics and provides superb impact properties in blends with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). It is widely used in TPO applications where excellent low temperature impact properties are desired.
This grade also provides high filler loading capability and outstanding peroxide cure capability. When cross-linked by peroxide, silane, or irradiation, ENGAGE 8150 provides exceptional heat aging, compression set, and weather resistance properties.
