NORYL WM230A Resin is a 30% glass fiber reinforced blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and polystyrene (PS), manufactured by SABIC . This injection moldable grade exhibits excellent long-term hydrolytic stability, very low water absorption, and heat/hot water resistance .

The 30% glass reinforcement provides enhanced stiffness and strength while maintaining good dimensional stability and low warpage. This grade is an excellent candidate for various water management applications such as pump housings, impellers, and valves .

NORYL WM230A is part of the NORYL family of modified PPE resins, consisting of amorphous blends of PPO™ resin (polyphenylene ether) and polystyrene. These resins combine the inherent advantages of PPO—affordable high heat resistance, good electrical properties, outstanding hydrolytic stability—with excellent dimensional stability, good processability, and low specific gravity .
