描述

NORYL PKN4752 Resin is a non-reinforced, translucent blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and general purpose polystyrene (GPPS), manufactured by SABIC . This extrudable and injection moldable grade is specifically designed to deliver high heat resistance combined with visual clarity and surface quality .

NORYL PKN4752 exhibits high heat resistance with a Vicat softening temperature of 174°C (A50)  and a Heat Deflection Temperature of 160°C at 0.45 MPa (ASTM) . It offers good dimensional stability, low warpage, hydrolytic stability, and low creep sensitivity , maintaining accurate geometry during processing and end use . The material appears translucent with a yellow tint in its natural color .

NORYL PKN4752 is FDA food contact compliant (FDA 21 CFR)  and suitable for (microwavable) food packaging . It is also RoHS compliant, enabling use in global applications where regulatory compliance is required See NORYL PKN4752F resin for FDA food compliant version .

This material is an excellent candidate for high performance packaging in food, electronics, and healthcare . The non-reinforced structure allows predictable processing and uniform material response without introducing reinforcement-related surface distortion .
