Hostaform C 2521 XAP POM is a low emission polyoxymethylene copolymer resin developed for applications requiring excellent mechanical performance, chemical resistance and reduced emissions, especially in automotive interior components.
Hostaform C 2521 XAP maintains the outstanding properties of traditional POM materials, including high stiffness, excellent dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, fatigue resistance and good wear performance. The XAP technology helps reduce emissions while maintaining the mechanical properties required for precision engineering applications.
This grade provides excellent resistance to solvents, fuels, strong alkalis and hydrolysis. It also offers good impact toughness, creep resistance and resistance to thermal and oxidative degradation, making it suitable for demanding long-term applications.
Hostaform C 2521 XAP is suitable for injection molding of thick-wall, void-free molded components as well as extrusion applications such as boards and pipes.
