Processing Guidelines
Recommended processing temperature: 200–250°C / 392–482°F
- Processing temperatures above 300°C / 572°F may cause resin degradation.
- Use corrosion-resistant metal surfaces or suitable nickel/chrome plating for exposed extruder and die surfaces.
- Feed Exxtra Adhere EAA38015 resin into the extruder after LDPE with a similar or higher melt index.
- Purge the extrusion system completely with LDPE or a suitable cleaning compound before shutdown.
- Optimize processing conditions according to the formulation, equipment, substrate, and intended bonding application.
