MacDermid Alpha Micromax 4999 is a solderable 4/1 silver/palladium termination paste designed for multilayer ceramic capacitors. Featuring Pb/Cd/Ni/phthalate-free formulation, 710-750°C firing, and carrier plate-type dipping with good solderability and adhesion over a wide range of capacitor bodies per TDS specifications.

Micromax 4999 is a solderable 4/1 silver/palladium termination paste designed for multilayer ceramic capacitors. This cadmium-free and lead-free termination offers good solderability and high adhesion over a wide range of capacitor bodies. The paste is ideal for applications where platable terminations are not desired but where soldering conditions are required. It is optimized for carrier plate-type dipping applications with a viscosity of 50-68 Pa.s per TDS specifications.

With a solid content of 75-77%, Micromax 4999 is applied by dipping and dried using a belt dryer at 140-160°C for 15-20 minutes. The paste fires at 710-750°C peak with a 40-minute cycle and 5-10 minute peak hold. The composition is compatible with ceramic capacitor bodies and delivers reliable solderability and adhesion.
