描述

Fortron 6165A6 is a 65% mineral and glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) injection molding grade from Celanese Corporation. This grade is an easier flow version of Fortron 6165A4, offering similar characteristics with improved processability for complex parts .

This linear, semi-crystalline PPS grade provides good flow, high dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, creep resistance at high temperatures, a high continuous use temperature (160°C to 240°C), and very low moisture absorption . It offers high hardness, rigidity, and excellent heat resistance under load bearing conditions .

Fortron 6165A6 exhibits excellent chemical resistance to all solvents below 200°C, acids, bases, typical and alternative automotive fuels, and petroleum fluids at elevated temperatures . It also demonstrates excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrolysis, oxidation, and paraffin buildup . The material complies with RoHS, PFOS, and PFOA regulations .
