描述

Fortron 4665B6 is a 65% mineral and glass fiber reinforced polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) injection molding grade from Celanese Corporation. This grade features a high Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) , making it particularly suitable for applications requiring resistance to high voltage. The balanced mineral-to-glass fiber ratio provides very low warpage, excellent dimensional stability, and outstanding electrical properties .

As a linear, semi-crystalline PPS, Fortron 4665B6 is relatively impermeable to gases, hydrocarbons, and other liquids compared to other materials. It provides high dimensional stability, low coefficient of friction, low shrinkage, excellent mechanical properties, a high continuous use temperature (160°C to 240°C), and very low moisture absorption .

This grade offers high hardness, high rigidity, and excellent resistance to corrosion, hydrolysis, heat, oxidation, and paraffin buildup. It shows excellent chemical resistance to all solvents below 200°C, acids, bases, typical and alternative automotive fuels, and petroleum fluids at elevated temperatures . The material is RoHS, PFOS, and PFOA compliant and is suitable for lead-free soldering and metal replacement applications .

The material meets Continental TST N 055 58.01 automotive specification and carries UL Yellow Card certification (E107854) .
