Solumer™ 883 is a medium-flow ethylene-octene copolymer relying on SK exclusive Nexlene metallocene catalyst system. This general-purpose POE grade serves as a versatile thermoplastic elastomer raw material, suitable for wire and cable outer sheath, shoe sole compounding and polypropylene toughening modification. Its moderate melt fluidity adapts to extrusion and injection molding processes, equipped with outstanding low-temperature impact resistance and stable long-term flexibility.

As a multi-scenario POE modifier, Solumer 883 owns excellent compatibility with PP, PE and other polyolefin substrates. After blending, it can significantly improve the low-temperature anti-cracking performance of rigid plastic products. When applied to wire and cable materials, it delivers good weather resistance and bending fatigue resistance; in footwear formulas, it brings soft touch and stable wear resistance without blooming.
The uniform molecular distribution of Solumer 883 guarantees stable melt output during continuous extrusion production, reducing surface defects of finished products. Compared with high-flow PV dedicated 8813V, this medium-flow grade features higher mechanical strength and tear resistance, more inclined to structural modification and flexible elastomer compound production instead of transparent thin film processing.
