Micromax 5075 is a silver carbon conductor ink for low-voltage flexible circuits where high conductivity is not required. It provides low cost per print, excellent screen life, and fast curing. Beyond conventional conductor use, it is particularly suitable for EMC shielding and display leads.
Micromax 5075 from MacDermid Alpha is a silver carbon conductor ink used to fabricate low-voltage circuitry, especially on flexible substrates. The composition targets low-cost conductive paths where very high conductivity is not required. Alongside conventional conductor applications, it is particularly suitable for EMC shielding and display leads. It runs on reel-to-reel, semi-automatic, and manual printers, and offers excellent screen life for longer print runs.
The ink carries 37–40% solids and viscosity 13–23 Pa.s. Box-oven drying is 120°C for 10 minutes; reel-to-reel drying is 140°C for 1 minute. Typical circuit line thickness is 7–10 μm. Cured film shows pencil hardness above 2H on 125μm polyester film. Work life exceeds 2 hours. Micromax 8210 is the listed thinner. Store sealed at 5–30°C; unopened shelf life is 3 months.
